അരികെ · Malayalam for “beside you”
A daily companion for your parent in India: an honest AI voice on WhatsApp every single day, a vetted human who calls every week, and a trusted local helper for everything in between. And for you — a weekly, truthful picture of how she's really doing.
10 founding families · first month free · Kerala first, then everywhere
“Amma says everything is fine. The neighbour says she barely leaves the house.” — every phone call, the same worry. Distance doesn't make you love less. It makes you know less. Arike closes that gap.
Every day
A warm voice on WhatsApp, in her own language — Malayalam or Hindi first. It asks about her knee, remembers the temple festival, listens to the long version of every story. It is honestly, openly an AI helper — it introduces itself as one, always. No app to install; it lives in the WhatsApp she already uses.
Every week
A vetted, background-checked Companion calls her every week. Not a rotating call-center — the same familiar voice building a real relationship, briefed on her week, checking what a machine can't.
On the ground
A trusted local helper — സഹായി — for the pharmacy run, the hospital visit, the paperwork, an outing to the beach she keeps postponing. Recruited, vetted, and supervised by Arike, never a stranger from an open marketplace.
Every week: a digest of how she's really doing, drawn from every conversation — mood, health mentions, worries, joys. Gentle early-warning signals when patterns change. Instant alerts when something needs you now. No more guessing through a five-minute “everything is fine.”
A ladder, not a lock-in — start where it feels right, move any time. Siblings share one plan.

The daily companion says it's an AI helper — naturally, in her language, every day. It never pretends to be human and it will never imitate a family member's voice or face. That technology is how elders get scammed; we exist to defend against it, not to use it.
The companion only knows what your family chooses to share — names, the news of the week, what to ask about. It never fabricates a memory or a relative. If it learns something new from her, you approve it before it's ever repeated.
You set Arike up, but the first conversation is us asking her, in her language, whether she wants this — recorded, revocable, hers.
Every Companion and Sahayi is identity-verified, reference-checked, and police-verified before home visits — with graduated trust levels, fully logged calls, and the same person every time. A curated network we supervise, never an open marketplace.
Arike is built to pull your family closer, not to replace it. The companion nudges her to call you with her news — and we measure ourselves on how often she does. If Arike ever makes you call less, we've failed.
Ten families. First month free. You'll talk directly with the founder, and you'll shape what Arike becomes. Kerala & Malayali families first — every corridor after.
Do you have time, patience, and warmth for elders — in Kerala, to begin with? Arike pays fairly for real care: weekly companionship calls, or practical help nearby. We vet carefully (ID, references, police verification for visits) because families trust us with their parents — and that trust becomes yours to carry.
Arike is built by Techroots, a small Belgian studio with Kerala roots — by someone who also calls home and hears “everything is fine.” We're building it openly, one family at a time. Write to us through either form above; a human reads every word.
